SINCE 2016

Our story of clarity on every brake.

FrameBright Workshop began in a small Portland garage and has grown into a respected source of practical bicycle brake education.

Our beginnings

FrameBright Workshop was founded when three cyclists realized brake adjustment knowledge was scattered and unreliable. We started teaching intimate weekend workshops focused solely on front and rear brake systems. Over the years we refined our method into clear, repeatable lessons that emphasize precision over speed.

Teaching approach

Every course follows a structured path: measure current performance, identify friction points, adjust lever travel and cable tension, then verify stopping power. Students leave with repeatable checklists and personal notes from the Brake Light Board system that tracks their progress.

Our values

Precision first

We teach exact measurements and methodical testing instead of guesswork.

Accessibility

All materials are written in clear language suitable for mechanics of any experience level.

Community

Graduates are encouraged to share knowledge and support one another in local workshops.
